The Rev. Dr. Wesley Gabel is pastor of Osseo United Methodist Church. Married to his teenage sweetheart, Wes and Diane have four adult children and three grandchildren. Wes’s education includes a bachelor’s degree from South Dakota State University, a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary, but his life and vision have been more deeply impacted by powerful moves of the Holy Spirit as a child, as a teenager and as a United Methodist pastor for 38 years. His goal is to fully embrace a faith that experiences and shares all the grace that Jesus offers.
The Rev. Bruce Kronen has been serving in church ministry since 1985. He attained a Bachelor of Science degree in the U of W system and first directed youth, family and single adult ministries in Wisconsin. Returning home to Minnesota, he has served various churches and the past 15 years serving as pastor to Pilgrim United Methodist Church in Plymouth MN. He is a graduate of Bethel Seminary and a Youth Leadership alumnus. A husband for 33 years, father and grandfather. Pastor Bruce enjoys all things outdoors, including our below zero temperatures in Minnesota (not so much the winter wind). He is thrilled about others connecting to God’s grace in Jesus and living into their promised full life in Christ. His vision is walking with Jesus: loving, living, and leading as grace takes hold.
The Rev. Dr. Joy J. Moore (Ph.D. Brunel University) is associate professor of Biblical Preaching at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. She served as Lead Pastor at Bethel United Methodist Church in Flint, Mich., and prior to that taught at Fuller Theological Seminary and Duke Divinity School. She is an ordained elder in the Michigan Conference of the United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Dr. Taber is pastor of the Olivet United Methodist Church in Robbinsdale, MN. Randy has a B.A. degree from the University of Minnesota, Morris (1973), a Master of Divinity degree from United Theological Seminary (1977), and a Ph.D. from Walden College (1985). He is an ordained United Methodist Clergy. Randy is married to Kris, and they have 3 children.
Dr. Taber is also a Chaplain Lt. Col. in the Minnesota Air National Guard (Continuing) and is presently assigned to the 148th Fighter Wing based in Duluth. In his capacity of Chaplain, Randy not only participates in exercises, but also assists in developing counseling, pastoral ministry, and chaplaincy skills. Randy is experienced in sexual assault counseling, marriage counselling, and serving as a death and dying group therapist. Most recently, Randy has been instrumental in developing a training package dealing with crises management and suicide prevention.
Dr. Taber's theological perspective is conservative and evangelical with an emphasis on shared leadership and information in a collegial setting. Randy considers himself to be a servant and treats everyone with cordiality and respect. He is motivated by a deep calling to the gospel and has a sincere desire to see persons serve Jesus Christ and His church. In addition to his daily ministry, Randy especially enjoys officiating at marriages and funerals, both at Olivet and at Ft. Snelling.
